About the CON-768BT
The CON-768BT allows enteliWEB 4.6 and higher or ORCAview to communicate with a BACnet network from any Delta device that is equipped with a RJ11 service port.Using a CON-768BT and a service laptop running enteliWEB or ORCAview, a technician can perform the following maintenance functions:

• Create, delete and modify objects
• Edit GCL+ programs
• Capture MS/TP network traffic using DNAT

Using a CON-768BT and a service laptop running Flash Loader or System Loader, a technician can upgrade controller firmware.The CON-768BT is a MS/TP to Bluetooth converter that allows enteliWEB or ORCAview to connect to a BACnet network from up to 33 feet (10 meters) away across a Bluetooth wireless connection. The Bluetooth connection forms a COM port link between the PC and the CON-768BT. The CON-768BT connects to and is powered from a RJ11 service port found on most Delta Controls products.The CON-768BT is intended to be used as a service tool rather than as a permanent site connection.

CON-768BT Usage

Unlike the previous CON-768, if the BT is disconnected from the controller, the wireless link will be lost and will not re-establish when connected to another controller. When this happens, right click on Network in Navigator and there will be an option Reconnect Bluetooth. This will also happen if the laptop is taken out of range of the BT.
